Bahcesehir University became a member of the Make Impact Consortium, where 20 universities from different countries of the world came together under the leadership of MIT.

Four undergraduate programs of Bahcesehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences were accredited by Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK).

Our Faculty Member in the Department of Management Engineering, Dr. Çağlar Sivri and academician from Konya Selçuk University Dr. Sertaç Güney's project titled "Developing a New Generation Airbag that Can Replicate the Shape of the Body Based on Negative Poisson Ratio" won the runner-up prize in the "National Exposition of Development and Entrepreneurship in Innovation-focused Advanced Material Technologies" event organized by Istanbul Gedik University in 12.06.2019. Congratulations to all of our teachers with contribution and we wish them a continued success.

The 4th of the Innovation Management and Leadership Certification Programme (IMLEAP), implemented in cooperation with Siemens Healthineers and Boğaziçi University took place between 11-15 March this year. 129 applications from 23 different universities were made to the programme which aims to introduce innovative projects in health technologies.

The producers of the electrical power systems on the market, network operators, engineering companies, R&D units of institutions and universities came together in Bahcesehir University for making assessment on developments in the sector, innovations and opportunities.

"Netas-BAU Techno Academy Master and Doctoral Program in Computer Engineering with Thesis" started by Netas, the leading digital conversion company of Turkey, with cooperation of Bahcesehir University (BAU) in 2014 has given its first graduates.

Apple, the most valuable company in the world, has for the first time invited a Turkish student to WWDC, its developmental event held in San Francisco in mid-June.

Selin Altiok, who is graduated from BAU has been accepted for Ph.D. program in Biology and Biomedical Sciences leaded by Aziz Sancar in University of North Carolina that is one of the most reputable universities in the world.

After the successful first two workshops hosted by Bahçeşehir University in 2014 and 2015, the III. BAU Workshop on ‘New Trends in Robotics’ was held on 3 June 2016, Friday at the Fazıl Say Auditorium on our Beşiktaş Campus.
