This Monday, May 8, Archi-Design Talks will be hosting Jonathan Alfred Noble from the University of the Free State, South Africa. The conference will be face-to-face in KAConf Conference Hall (A Block, 1st basement floor). It will start at 14:30. The conference will be on "The Architecture of Peter Rich: Conversations with Africa".
Professor Jonathan Noble currently serves as Head of the Department of Architecture at the University of the Free State in South Africa, where also lectures in creative research and design and convenes the PhD in Architecture with a Specialisation in Design program. Jonathan holds a BArch (professional) and MArch by independent research (both from the University of the Witwatersrand), a PhD from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and is the author of the books: African Identity in Post-Apartheid Public Architecture: White Skin, Black Masks, published by Ashgate (2011), and The Architecture of Peter Rich: Conversations with Africa, published by Lund Humphries (2020).
