Move Up 'Guide Your Future In One Day' Trainings Have Started

BAU MOVE UP trainings that enable students to Guide Their Future In One Day is taking place on 26 - 27th February to inform candidate students on future plans. Training will be held between 9:30 - 16:30 (full day) and at the end of training students who attended will be given a certificate of participation.

MOVE UP training meets with high school students again, which will enable them to shape their future in a day. BAU aims to provide a different projection on the question of what should be the jobs of the future through the perspective of "What should be the competencies and skills of the future?" and to inform our candidate students about their future plans with MOVE UP trainings.

Topics of the training program that covers the competencies of the 21st century are as follows: Information Law, The Power of Information BIG DATA, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and Crypto Economy, Creativity in Digital Communication, Advertising, and Branding in the Metaverse World, Design Thinking". In addition to sharing current information, interactive studies will also take place.

On the first day of the training, BAU Faculty of Law Vice Dean Assist Prof. Mehmet Sinan Altunç said: “Developing in the field of IT Law will have an important place in the future where everything is rapidly digitized.”

BAU Big Data Education and Research Center Director Assoc. Prof. Yücel Batu Salman emphasized the importance of BIG Data and said: “BIG Data research enables us to answer different and complex questions in many fields such as cyber security!” 

BAU Artificial Intelligence Center Director Dr. Fatih Kahraman said, “At this point, we see where artificial intelligence technology has reached. The opportunity for development in this field continues to grow with each passing day."

Underlining the importance of the crypto economy, BAU Financial Research and Application Center Coordinator Assist. Prof. Member Serkan Yeşilyurt: “Crypto economy will appear in more places in the future than it does today.” said

BAU Faculty of Communication Vice Dean in Education Assist. Prof. Şafak Şahin talked about the work of Bahçeşehir University Creative Industries Center (BAUKEM) and the future of digital communication.

BAU Faculty of Architecture and Design Dean Prof.Dr. Murat Dündar said: “Thinking differently in architectural design is now a necessity. It is necessary to learn and teach to think differently.” used the phrases.

In the continuation of the training, Associate Professor Yücel Batu Salman, Director of BAU Big Data Education and Research Center said: “An evolutionary process comes into our lives with the advancement of technology. As a result, we change our behavior and expectations as individuals.”
