The radical transformation experienced with the digital age, in which we are in the middle of a very important transition period in terms of the history of cinema and television, paved the way for the transition from conventional cinema to a new production style expressed with the concept of "Digital Cinema". On the other hand, during the COVID-19 pandemic process that has swept the world since 2019, the negative impact of 75-90% of production worldwide showed that digital transformation has become inevitable for the cinema industry.
It is easy to predict that a transformation that emphasizes an important transition period in the history of cinema and television and affects the world's most influential mass media will change the creative industries on a global scale. Evaluating the current situation is extremely important when making inferences about the future in the field of cinema.
With the collective mind meetings to be organized by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Communication Cinema and Television Department with the leaders of the sector, a way to improve the sector in the world and in Turkey will be sought by keeping the pulse of this transformation. "Does Online Content Change Cinema Aesthetics?" and "Content Production on Online Platforms: What Does the Audience Want?" In the common mind meetings to be held in two different sessions, the industry professionals will come together to exchange ideas on how the future of cinema will be shaped on an international and national scale.
