Dear students,
• The courses of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences for the 2020-2021 Spring term have been planned online, synchronous and hybrid. • All our theoretical and applied courses will be held online synchronously via MS Teams. Additionally, laboratory applications, project studies, problem-solving sessions and office hours will be held face-to-face on our campus with our students. • Face-to-face practice courses to be held on campus will be planned by appointment as well by strictly complying with the pandemic-caused precautions, and will be held with student groups of which numbers have been reduced. The students who cannot come to the campus will not suffer in any way and can attend all classes online synchronously.
• Following the assessments to be made by T.R Ministry of Health in the middle of the term depending on the course of the pandemic, changes might be realized on the application principles of the courses. Besides, it is aimed to repeat the applied courses for 2020-2021 Fall and Spring Terms as face-to-face during the evenings and weekends upon the request of the students, at the end of the Spring Term.
You will see that the course materials in its learning LMS system are enriched with the videos of lecture and laboratory applications, animations, etc. Also, you can access all licensed software on the campus remotely and run the software at high performance regardless of the computer you use through MS Azure virtual lab. As the family of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, we will leave this challenging period which the whole humanity is going through behind us all together and with health on our side, by keeping the education quality at the highest level.
