Turkey National Elemination of Philip C. Jessup International Speculative Case Competition whose 59th was organized this year by International Law Students Association (ILSA) with the support of International Law Club of Bahcesehir University (BAU) will be held on 10-11 February hosted by Bahçeşehir University in BAU South Campus.
The parties in the National Eleminations, which will be held with the participation of six teams in Turkey in this year, will move the preocedures and principles to the judiciary on behalf of the parties in the legal disputes between People’s Democratic Republic of Anduchenca and Federal Republic of Rukaruku. Three each arbitrator panel of each contest consists of academciians and lawyers, and our team, who won the first place in the consequence of total contests conducted in English, will gain right to represent our country in the International Finals that will be organized in Washington DC, in USA in the dates of 1-7 April.
UNIVERSITIES MORE THAN 645 FROM 95 COUNTRY ARE TAKING PART IN THE COMPETITION
In competition which Universities more than 645 from 95 country are taking part in all around the world, the teams who become sucessful on international eliminations, will gain right to go to United States to represent their country . On the purpose of conflicting resolution among fictionalised countries, the purpose the competition, which consists of simulation of a case in International Court of Justice, is that international law is rooted around the wrold and lawyer qualificiations practically give to law students besides improvement. International qualification subject matter has been presented to the students about 8-9 month before the verbal self-defense, and therefore, students get through from a busy schedule.
Eventually, competition’s prize is to have the distinct honour of being winner of a prestigious organization in the law environments, and the relevant overachievement bring along the possibilities of the various jobs, internship and academic education.
