"BAU Washington, D.C. Political Communication” program will take the university students to the US Presidential Elections race.
US is getting ready for the 2016 Presidential Elections. This election will be the 58th presidential election, which both parties determine their candidate by caucuses within.
The election race has officially begun. The first elected African-American president Barack Obama will not be a candidate since he has be elected for the office twice before. Those that would be in the race which is expected to be between the Democrat and the Republican Parties will be officialised after the congresses of both parties by late August or early September.
Both parties already started to work on the communication strategies for the US Presidential Elections to be held on November 8, 2016. The planning up until the elections day is designed according to the results provided by prominent experts and research companies of the world.
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WILL BE UNRAVELLING THE STRATEGY BEHIND THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
Bahcesehir University will take its students to the US under the program entitled “BAU Washington, D.C Political Communication” so that they will be learning about the political communication strategies of the most important presidential race of the world and will be watching the elections closely between January 25- May 16, 2016.
In this program in Washington, D.C., the students will be one-to-one experiencing all the elements of a political campaign including the media relationship in political communication, voter behaviors and creative communication strategies. The program will be coordinated by Prof. Dr. Haluk Gürgen of BAU School of Communication and Dr. Walid Phares of BAU International University Washington.
“POLITICAL COMMUNICATION” CERTIFICATE FOR THE PARTICIPANTS
The students in the School of Communication, Politics and International Relations, the School of Administrative Sciences, Sociology and Psychology students might join this program. The students completing this program successfully will receive a “Political Communication” certificate.
